The Core of Yoga with Geoff Brooks
The experience of Yoga includes presence, clarity, calm, curiosity and creativity. The science and philosophy of Yoga informs us that this is possible when we feel supported, which allows us to feel free to explore and be curious.
These special classes provide the tools, techniques and wisdom to help you find physical, mental and emotional stability and flexibility.
Each specifically themed session builds upon core support and awareness, then moves
through the upper body neck and shoulders so we experience the unique metaphysical,
physiological and somatic human experiences of our bodies, and finally; how these enable
curiosity, creativity, determination and purpose.
Series of 3 or single classes
Session 1: Core Support
Focuses on how posture and breath target foundational pelvic floor and core stabilizers; how breath supports the process and how they encourage embodied selfesteem and presence.
Session 2:The Fluid Spine
Building on the lower core foundation, we explore the journey of upper torso, shoulder and neck strength and flexibility. The transference of this awareness is truly accessible when we maintain free flowing energy through the spine, giving us confidence and purpose.
Session 3: The Dance of Prana
The pinnacle and purpose of the practices of Yoga is presence. This is far easier to achieve when we feel confidence in our bodies and freedom in our movement. This session explores how the previous lessons of foundation and fluidity lead to freedom and creativity in both our body and mind.

● People seeking effective tools for stress regulation
