What brings you joy?
It’s the wild nature. Forest and sea, wild lakes. It’s amazing, how happy it makes me, to feel I am part of it….

What is your favorite yoga pose?
I love the dancer’s pose. All the balancing poses you have to be present! You absolutely need to concentrate your mind and focus on keeping your balance. When you life is balanced you are happy!

Can you recommend a must read book or film?
For Estonian people it’s of course Andrus Kivirähk “ The Man Who Spoke Snakish”.
Eckhart Tolle “The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment”.

Why do you teach yoga?
Teaching yoga can be a very rewarding and fulfilling job. I think that people should do something they are good at and something they love to do. There are some people who have encouraged me and I love to do yoga.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?
The connection with the participants. When you see them enjoying the moment together. When they learn from you and you learn something new from them as well.

Which yoga styles you teach?
I teach Body Balance at the moment but I’m always happy to learn new styles.

What inspired you to become a yoga instructor?
I started with ballet when I was six years old, always loved to dance and move. When discovered Bodybalance it’ was a bit like dancing because the music and movement. It made me feel good. I discovered yoga in Merlijn. I think the teachers here inspired me…

Which yoga classes do you personally enjoy taking?
I love Vinyasa and Bodybalance classes most.

What is the most important message you want to convey to your participants?
Each day is an opportunity to begin again. Use your yoga practice as a touchstone to remind yourself of the importance of self care. A daily yoga practice will give you a chance to slow down, go inward and reconnect with your body, mind and spirit.
